Arrival Leh
Upon arrival Leh airport, meet to our local assistance, transfer to
hotel. On arrival at hotel, provide the welcome tea, coffee & snakes. We advise you, take complete
rest for acclimatization to
the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). After lunch you can commence the walk in the market, or
Shanti Stupa & Sankar Gompa. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel. (B/D)
Leh
After leisurely breakfast visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery
& Stok Palace Museum. After lunch at the hotel, visit and Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib,
Magnetic Point and Nimmu (Confluence
of Zanskar & Indus Rivers) drive back to hotel. Dinner & Overnight at hotel. (B/D)
Leh - Khardung La Pass - Leh (Every Monday Closed)
After an early breakfast drive to
Khardung-La (90 kms round trip), highest motorable pass in the world (alt. 18,380 ft.). On the drive back
from the pass, you will
be rewarded with spectacular views of the Indus Valley and the endless peaks of the Zanskar range. Rest of
the day explore the markets. Dinner & overnight at hotel. (B/D)
Leh Departure
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
